Our Company
Established in 2007, PSS provides logistics and sea transportation solutions to coal mining companies in Indonesia. As part of IMC Group, an integrated provider of industrial and maritime solutions for various logistics and sea transportation needs to transport dry and liquid cargo in Asia, we started with a new fleet (25 units of tugs and 27 barges). We then acquired 4 new Floating Loading Facilities (FLF) to complete the fleet.
We with full dedication honed our expertise and business processes to become a reliable provider logistics and sea transportation solutions for the coal mining industry in Indonesia.
In 2017, commodity and coal prices began to increase. As the market develops, PSS acquires new assets. At present, our fleet consists of 85 fleets consisting of 38 Tugs, 37 Barges (1 unit of 270-feet, 29 units of 300-feet and 7 units of 330-feet), 3 units Floating Loading Facility (FLF), 1 unit of Floating Crane (FC), 4 units of Handysize Class Bulk Cargo Vessel and 2 units of Supramax Class Bulk Cargo Vessel

Our History
2007-2010
Established in Jakarta, Indonesia. Acquired 25 units of Tug, 27 units of Barge, 4 units of FLF named Ratu Kumala, Ratu Barito, Ratu Dewata and Ratu Mahakam.
2011-2015
- The government pushed for massive infrastructure and industrial development as a result from A significant increase in demand for electricity. The government aims to have Indonesia electrification ratio at above 95% by 2019.
- Started blending Transshipment in 2015.
2016
- Operated New FC Strait Phoenix.
- Started new theatre of operation at Berau, Muara Pantai and expanded area of operation to Sangkulirang, East Kalimantan.
- Acquired 3 units of Tugs and 2 units of Barges 300-feet
2017
- Acquired 9 units of Tugs, 7 units of Barges 330-feet, 1 unit of Barge 27-feet, and 1 units Bulk Carrier Handysize class “Dewi Saraswati”
- Listed as a Public Company in Indonesia Stock Exchange in 5th December (IDX Code “PSSI”)
2018
- Expanded area of operation to Palembang, South Sumatra
- Acquired 1 unit of Tug and 1 unit of Bulk Carrier Handysize class “Dewi Ambarwati”
- Divested 1 unit of FLF “Ratu Barito”
2019
- Acquired 4 units of Bulk Carriers, 2 units of Supramax class “Daidan Pertiwi” &“Daidan Mustikawati” and 2 units of Handysize class “Dewi Regina Manggala” & “Dewi Gandawati” and 2 units of Barges 330-feet “Dewi Iriana 9” and “Dewi Iriana 10” and 1 unit Tug “JKW Mahakam 10”
- Gained a USD 39.4 Million contract with major nickel smelter, largest time charter contract, for nickel ore and coal shipping activities
- Nominated for Business Indonesia Award 2019, for Category of Infrastructure, Utility and Transportation Sector.
